Anti-vibration mounts - Shockproof base 35X40X23 M8 — Machine mounting isolator made of rubber or a rubber-to-metal bonded elastomer, fitted between equipment and its base to break the vibration path in gensets, pumps, fans and condensing units. Select by equipment weight and speed: the rated load of each isolator must exceed the load it actually carries, and all four support points must have the same stiffness, otherwise the machine tilts and vibration gets worse. The mounting surface must be level and flat, and the machine should be levelled before final tightening; pipes and cables connected to the machine must include flexible sections, otherwise the rigid connection short-circuits the isolation. Rubber stiffens with age and isolates less, so replace it once clear cracks or permanent set appear. Check the thread size and outline dimensions before ordering.
