QDJ2811C STARTER is the starter motor: it cranks the flywheel until the engine reaches firing speed.
A tired starter is recognisable by sound: slow crank, solenoid click with no rotation, or a crank that stalls on compression. Check battery, terminals and ground first — a voltage drop in the cable gives the same symptom.
Specifications and compatibility
- Voltage (V)
- 24 VDC
How to verify before ordering
- Match the reference and the pinion tooth count; the wrong tooth count damages the flywheel.
- Confirm voltage (12 V or 24 V) and the rating of the original starter.
- Check rotation direction and mounting flange type before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
It clicks and does not turn. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. The click is the solenoid pulling in. It may be a flat battery, a loose ground or burnt internal contacts. Measure voltage at the starter terminal during the attempt before removing it.
Can it be repaired instead of replaced?
Yes, when the damage is in brushes, solenoid or winding. On critical sets keep a spare and repair the removed unit without pressure.
