Overview
The BCP-274 series covers 9 diesel generator sets from 131.3 to 328.1 kVA (105–262.5 kW standby), with 50/60 Hz output and voltages from 110/208 V to 277/480 V in a three-phase four-wire system. It is the range BCP uses for large homes, shops, workshops and smaller sites, where the set has to start on its own and stay running for hours, not minutes.
Every model in the series ships in open or soundproofed configuration, with an integrated control panel and factory-set engine and alternator protection. Because they share one architecture, the 9 models follow the same maintenance logic and, within each power step, the same consumables, which keeps several units on one site simple to run.

Frequently asked questions
What differs between the models in the series?
Only the rating: they share architecture, electrical system and maintenance logic, and step up in consecutive power ratings. The model is chosen by the load it has to carry in standby, not by the size of the site.
Is the series available in both 50 and 60 Hz?
Yes. Frequency and voltage are confirmed on the order; the same model is built at 50 Hz / 1500 rpm and at 60 Hz / 1800 rpm, with the same power ranges.
What maintenance does a set in this range need?
The usual plan is oil and filters by running hours, checks on coolant level and condition, cleaning of the air pre-filter and a monthly on-load start test. On standby sets the calendar matters more than the hour meter.
